New Position: Respitality Developer
12 months contract, 21 hours per week, £28k salary (pro rata)
Shared Care Scotland is looking for an enthusiastic individual to help us develop an exciting new project called Respitality. Respitality aims to connect Scotland’s hospitality sector with carer support organisations to create opportunities for carers to have much needed time-out from their caring responsibilities.
Respitality is overseen by Shared Care Scotland, working with partners in the hospitality sector and local carer support services. The post is funded by Scottish Government.

The overall purpose of the Respitality Developer post is to support the successful establishment of Respitality in four local authority areas across Scotland over 12 months. The Respitality Developer will work closely with local delivery partners to recruit hotels, guest houses and other hospitality businesses to help us offer a range of complimentary breaks to carers. Our ambition is that this work will provide a solid foundation on which to grow Respitality into a Scotland-wide programme.
