This five star wheel chair adapted self-catering cottage featuring good Wi-Fi, Netflix, a large sunny lounge, and a kitchen/diner with its own secluded patio and garden. There is an en-suite bedroom, a further bedroom and a family wet room providing a comfortable and safe environment for all ages that also caters for less mobile guests. The cottage sleeps 6. We offer flexible short and longer breaks as well as a light bed and breakfast option.

Ground floor: Bedroom 1 King memory foam bed with private en-suite shower/toilet Bedroom 2 Double bed with bunk above Both are next to a (Doc M) family-sized wet room There is a stair lift to a large lounge and diner and level access to a private patio and shrub bordered terraced garden. Full service description:

Courtside cottage is an exceptional holiday let in the heart of Fife near Edinburgh and St Andrews. The conversion is intelligently designed and built to a high specification in what was the village’s carpenters workshop. It was built sometime in the early 1700’s. Falkland is in the middle of glorious countryside. Edinburgh, St Andrews and Dunkeld (gateway to the Scottish Highlands) are a forty minute drive. This retreat is an ideal base for those who also want easy access to lochs, rivers and hills or enjoy the pick of golf courses in and around The Home of Golf. The historic village enjoys striking architecture and is famous for the Renaissance Falkland Palace that lies at its heart. There is plenty to do on the doorstep and further afield.

What is included/not included in the price of the break:

Between October and February a gas and electricity allowance of £6/day is included in the price. Consumption above this is charged at cost. Complimentary peat briquettes for the stove are supplied. Further bales available at £8 each.
