Shared Care Scotland facilitates various networks to help support the planning, commissioning and development of short break and respite services. The Providers Network is aimed at people with day-to-day management responsibility for short break services, normally at a local level. The purpose of this network is explained below.

OUR FIRST PROVIDERS NETWORK EVENT

Shared Care Scotland would like to invite you to our first Networking Café event in Stirling on Tuesday 11th May 2010, from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
The purpose of this event is to update service managers on the latest policy developments concerning short breaks and respite care, including progress on the Carers Strategy for Scotland, the government’s Concordat commitment to increase respite provision by 10,000 weeks, and other national initiatives to promote and support improved respite care.
