Description

Semi detached house setting with garden area. Adapted to suit people with a disability. Lift to upper floor (two ensuite bedrooms and office area) Lounge, kitchen, toilet and one ensuite room on the ground floor. All rooms equipped with electronic door openers, televisions and CD players. The ground floor room and one bedroom on the upper floor have track and hoists fitted and the third bedroom has use of a portable hoist. There is a sprinkler system throughout the house. The house itself is non smoking but clients can smoke in the garden area, or in the designated smoking area in the adjacent residential care unit.

24 hour staffing. On site restaurant and laundry facilities and public telephone. Service is person centred and endeavours to meet the needs of each person visiting by discussion prior to the visit and on an ongoing basis. The respite service is provided on a full board basis with staff available to provide for your care needs day and night. Visitors to the service can join the residents in the main care unit for meals and socialising or take their meals in the respite house, which are delivered from the main kitchen.

Cultural needs

Special diets can be arranged from the main restaurant in the residential care unit. We will do our best to cater for individual needs by discussion prior to arrival. Information can be provided in different languages on request.

Services can be accessed via the social work department or by direct contact with the service. We accept people from all areas.

£1,244 per week - yearly inflationary increase negotiated with Stirling Council.

What is included/not included in the price of the break

Furnished accommodation, 24 hour staffing - waking night staff, all meals, electricity and gas, laundry service, domestic service, bed linen, and towels supplied. Television and cd players in each room. Television and DVD player in main lounge. Snacks, tea and coffee available. Outings can be arranged with staff escorting - transport and entry fees etc paid for by the client. Clients are welcome to use communal areas and smoking area in the main care home.

With sufficient notice respite breaks can be planned/booked in advance to allow a carer to arrange a break away from their caring role
We can provide care in holiday accommodation (Hotels, Self Catering), where a carer is available in that area
