- Description
-
2-3 hour home based respite. In some cases it may be possible to take the cared for person on a local outing. This would enable the carer to have some respite in their own home.
The Scheme has a Co-ordinator and employs trained Home Care Attendants in all areas who are able to go into the homes of those who need care and allow the Carer some time away from their caring responsibilites.
We have recently teamed up with Macmillan Cancer Support to develop two special joint projects, one in Islay & Jura and one in Mid Argyll & Kintyre. You can find out more by contacting us.
For more information on our Services and Projects, contact our Co-ordinator, Helen Kessell by telephoning 01546 603082. - Care Needs
