Lothian Autistic Society organise and manage autism specific playschemes in the Easter and Summer school holidays. Currently we offer up to 50 places in Edinburgh and 20 in West Lothian. These playschemes are open to children and young people with an Autism Spectrum Condition in full time education between the ages of 5&18.
Children attending will be matched 1-1 with a carer though some may need more or less staff input depending on ability and nature of the scheduled activity. These playschemes are run in accordance with the regulations inpossed by The Care Commission and our own policies.

- With sufficient notice respite breaks can be planned/booked in advance to allow a carer to arrange a break away from their caring role
- We can provide care in holiday accommodation (Hotels, Self Catering), where a carer is available in that area
