Full service description:

We understand the difficulties our customers can experience in travelling with care and support needs of their own or their holiday companions. We offer a bespoke service tailored to you or your families needs and can provide a holiday escort who can provide support, care and companionship and assistance with mobility difficulties. Altogether Travel support a wide range of people to enjoy a holiday. This includes older people, sensory impairment, and learning and physical disabilities. This can be a short break, holiday, or a simple day trip. We understand that every customer has their own support needs and requirements and due to this, we do everything we can to put together the right holiday and support package. Anyone with any health condition can have a break with us. Arrangements can be made for the hire of mobility equipment throughout the UK and the Rest of the World and we can have this waiting at your chosen destination. We offer a travel companion service, this can be accompanying someone on a long journey by car, train, plane or boat. This can be throughout the UK, EU, or worldwide. We can arrange holidays both domestically or outwith Scotland/UK.

Price information:

Each break is priced individually and depends on the level of support required. This will be discussed and agreed before any break is booked. Altogether Travel DO NOT charge by the hour unlike care companies. As a Supported Travel Company we can take advantage of our affiliate and partnership arrangements with travel providers, tour operators to ensure we get you the best price for every aspect of your holiday. We also have partnerships with a number of travel insurance companies that offer insurance with no upper age limit and for people with pre-existing health conditions.

What is included/not included in the price of the break:

The holiday and support are included in the price we quote. Customers spending money is not included in the price of the break. We can also provide quotes for door to door transport if required, we have found that some people enjoy the service of getting picked up with their luggage and taken to the departure point or destination. Important - It is the responsibility of the individual going on the break to purchase their own travel insurance (We can recommend a company that specialises in policies for people we pre-existing medical conditions.) Altogether Travel is the combination of a care company and a travel company. The founder Stephen Chalmers has over 30 years experience of supporting people and managing social care services. Altogether Travel's aim was to disrupt the traditional respite services and gives families the opportunity to book a break to a holiday destination that suits them. After all If you want to book a holiday you go to a travel company not a care company.
