Crossroads Caring Fife offer short breaks to Carers at regular intervals. Staff can stay with the cared for person in their home or can take them out by arrangement. We also offer a befriending service providing support to those who face social isolation and loneliness.

Crossroads Fife Central has an open referral system. Anyone can make a referral as long as the 'cared for person' has a Carer.

Full service description:

We provide assistance to people living at home, supporting them to meet their care needs and to enable them to achieve their goals and choices. The service is available on any day including evenings. Support staff are trained to a high standard to give a flexible and reliable service including assistance with toileting, moving and handling, giving medicines etc. Unfortunately, because of the high volume of requests for this service, we operate a waiting list.

Price information:

We are funded by Fife Health and Social Care Partnership to provide a support service to Carers who live in Central and North East Fife. If staff take the cared for person out in their car there is a mileage cost of 0.45p per mile. (Please get in touch for up-to-date pricing) Services can also be purchased privately or through Direct Payments, Self Directed Support.
