We have 7 beds in a purpose-built bungalow. The accommodation is fully accessible and offers single bedrooms with en-suite facilities, some equipped with full tracking slings. The service has a wheelchair adapted vehicle.Activities offered include cinema outings, ten pin bowling, pubs, bus trips. The service is very much focussed on client choice.

People have access to the project through Care Managers. The service is available to people in the Glasgow City and also outwith Glasgow. Referrals can also be made directly from parents or carers.

The staff team at Mavisbank are experienced and trained to a high standard in areas such as safer handling, epilepsy awareness, administration of medication and person centred approaches.

Mavisbank is a respite service offering short breaks to people with a learning disability on a rolling programme. We also offer longer periods of respite to allow carers to go on holiday. Flexible respite services are also available, such as short breaks/holidays and care at home.
