Comfortable, accessible lochside self catering lodges. Our aim at Melfort is to enable anyone to come and enjoy a relaxing holiday in this idyllic setting, therefore it was important to us to provide comfortable and accessible accommodation for our less able guests. We are a cat. 2. Seven of our houses are on one floor with ramps, parking for easy access, and all the required facilities in the bathroom.

Full service description:

Some people come to Melfort to do nothing more strenuous than look at the view, feed the birds, read a book or fall asleep. Others find their pleasures getting out and about enjoying the spectacular countryside and exciting activities on offer in the Oban and Lorn area. We also have FREE fishing from our Pier, but bring your own rods. You can easily come to the Pier with your own wheel chair. Access is easy around our small complex - tarmac on the paths and driveways which offer spectacular views over Loch Melfort. It is possible to use our electric wheelchair or walking aid during your stay, however these must be booked. Other items can be hired for the duration of your stay from our local hospital or disability shop. The Atlantis Leisure Pool in Oban has disabled access and horse riding for the disabled is available at Achnashelach riding stables.

What is included/not included in the price of the break:

Included in the price is your electricity, heating, your first basket of fire wood, kindling and firelighters. Free Wifi, a min. of 2 TV's with digital boxes. Radio, CD player. DVD player. Free fishing from our Pier and the use of a small row boat. When you arrive all the beds are made up, and your towels are ready for use, there is toilet paper, soap, paper towels, kitchen towels, cleaning materials. Hairdryer, iron, ironing board, Bin bag, some candles, games and information book. Our office is open 7 days a week in case you have any questions. Not included: Pets £20 per week. Highchair/cot/changing pad £10 per stay.
