Full service description:

Individuals, families and carers receive high-quality support through services designed to meet their needs. This includes respite, social clubs and activities for children and young people with autism, their siblings and parents and carers. We also deliver holiday play schemes in partnership with local authorities. Branch Out Together, in partnership with VOCAL Carers Centre and have secured funding which will provide families in Edinburgh with a fantastic respite opportunity. Families can use their award to have one-to-one respite care for their child with a Lothian Autistic Society carer. VOCAL’s Better Breaks Scheme provides flexible respite and structured activity sessions for children and young adults with additional needs (aged 21 and under) with the aim of increasing the number of breaks available to parents and carers. Applications for flexible respite delivered by Branch Out Together are open to all children and young people with additional needs, not just an autism diagnosis.
