Maison des Landes Hotel in Jersey has been catering for guests with all manner of disabilities since the 1960's. The hotel caters for you as a disabled guest, together with your companions, in accommodation that has been specially designed and equipped to meet your needs. We endeavour to provide everything guests may require, from electric beds to ceiling hoists, as well as wheel-in wet rooms and a large, readily accessible hydrotherapy pool.

There are 26 bedrooms, set up as three 3-bedded rooms, eighteen twin-bedded rooms and five singles. Eighteen are on the ground floor with the remainder on the first floor. The upstairs rooms are accessible by Stairlift. Every room has a hoist and a walk-in/wheel-in shower, as well as a TV and tea/coffee-making facilities. Importantly, all rooms have emergency call buttons. Two twin self-catering units are also available. Nine of the ground floor rooms are fitted with electric beds. Low pressure mattresses are available on request. We are confident that this flexible arrangement means that we have a room that is just right for you. The hotel has a large indoor heated swimming pool specially designed with wheelchair ramps and hoists for ease of access and exit. Hotel staff are available to assist guests into and out of the pool.

Full service description:

All guests are met at their point of arrival (either airport or harbour) and transferred to Maison des Landes in our specially adapted mini buses. Nursing care is not provided within the hotel, therefore guests must either be able to attend to their personal needs or be accompanied by an able-bodied guest capable of doing so. A District Nurse can be arranged to visit at additional cost to the guest and this should be requested at the time of booking. Special equipment is available including hoists, hospital beds, electric beds, low pressure mattresses, manual wheelchairs, zimmer frames, monkey poles, commodes etc. A limited number of electric wheelchairs and scooters are available to hire.
