Full service description:

The choir shows that people with dementia have the ability to change the communities thinking. There is no criteria for joining the choir other than you like music. The choir is inclusive of all, aims to offer people a good social meeting place, challenge the stigma of dementia and create a sound that people enjoy listening to. There are around 20 members.  Some people have no links to Alzheimer Scotland other than the choir; others are people with dementia, carers and staff. The best thing about the choir is that it is fun reflecting the stories of the members through the songs the choir sing. Because they are linked to the early onset project the songs they sing reflect the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.
