C.O.J.A.C. is a fully accessible disability resource centre in Castlemillk, Glasgow providing out of school care and holiday play schemes for children and young people up to age 18 years affected by any disability. We also provide adult evening services from 18 years, offering pick up from home and return. The centre is fully accessible.

Full service description:

We provide after school care and school holiday care for children up to age 18 years with additional support needs. Transport is provided for adult groups in the evening to and from home. Respite for carers and provision of a Carers Support Group within the centre usually meet monthly. We offer adult group work three evenings per week and adult day group on a Wednesday from 10am until 2.30pm. A youth group is provided on a Monday evening from 6-9pm for 18 years to around 25 years of age. Provision of one to one support where required to meet individual requirements of children, young people and adults with complex needs.We also provide a young adult and adult groups in the evening, and respite for families. Provision of a young adult group every Wednesday from 10am until 2.30pm. Provision of a carers support group once a month in the centre on a Friday from 10am. The group is also supported by South East Carers Centre, is informal and is open to all parents/carers affected by a disability. Registered care services, PVG and SSSC registered staff.

What is included/not included in the price of the break:

Out of school care and holiday care - all trips, outings and resources. This includes, for example, trips to the cinema, bowling and safari/country parks. Staff provide personal care and can administer medication. Transport is provided during school holidays for trips and outings at no extra cost. Adult groups - all activities except trips to cinema, bowling or theatre have to be paid for or fundraised for. No additional cost for collection of adult from home and return home.

We are a registered charity managed by a voluntary management committee and have been in existence since around 1984. We are independent and operate from the centre of Castlemilk with free car parking and a fully accessible building. The centre offers multiple rooms and resources, including sensory room, multi level soft play, outdoor play area, sensory garden, arts and crafts and sports hall with equipment and resources for performances.
