Brief description:

Daldorch Outreach Service provides community support for children, young people and young adults with autism. Our outreach team can help individuals to participate in a range of leisure activities. This can be an individual activity or support to attend a group or club. We also provide support to help maintain access to and participation in education.

Referrals usually come through social work departments, but we are happy to consider direct referrals from families and people with autism, making use of Self Directed Support budgets.

Full service description:

Outreach support provides families with a short period of respite where a traditional overnight respite is not suitable or wanted. As part of the National Autistic Society our workers are trained and experienced in supporting children and young people with autism. cation and social skills. Our workers have the support of an experienced management team based at Daldorch House School. The Outreach team also support our Short Breaks service providing residential short breaks in a more traditional way.

Prices are available on request as this can vary according to the level of support required.

What is included/not included in the price of the break:

Additional costs are negotiated on an individual basis. Extras may include a hire vehicle, & fuel costs; activity costs and subsistence for workers where appropriate.
