We have created a widget that allows the Short Break Search Panel to sit on your own website. It allows people to search the database of short break providers in Scotland directly from your website.
The widget uses an “iFrame” to create a website within a website. Once someone has clicked on the search button, a new tab is launched with the search results directly from our site. This means that after installation there is no further work for you to do. We continue to maintain and grow the database. There are no additional security issues for you to contend with as it is our website that sits within the iFrame.
We have created three sizes of the widget so you can fit it in with the existing templates of your site. Simply copy the code from below the size that suits you and insert it into the HTML code for your page at the point you want it to appear.
If you do host a search panel on your site please can you let Communications Developer Kate Hogarth know by email at Kate.hogarth@sharedcarescotland.com. This will enable us to keep you up-to-date with any changes or updates to the widget, and it is helpful for us to understand how the widget is being used. We will only use your email address to notify you of changes to the widget, unless we have received permission to contact you in relation to our other services.
