Having taken early retirement Rhona is currently working as a Senior Support worker with a charity organisation, Options in Life, which is based in Fife. They organise and support young adults with learning disabilities to access a weekly recreation programme.
Previously most of Rhona’s working life was as a Community Paediatric Physiotherapist – ultimately leading the Fife Service. In 2015 she left the NHS and joined The Thistle Foundation as a Personal Outcomes Consultant and spent 18 months working with their Learning and Development team. From there she moved north to take over the role of Care Manager at Badaguish Holiday Respite Care Lodge.
Rhona has a particular interest in Dialogue and Leadership Embodiment and how these show up in the conversations and situations we find most challenging. She uses her experience with this as well as her training in Gestalt and other models of coaching in her own coaching business.
Outside of work, Rhona enjoys the outdoors and is a keen walker, cyclist and canoeist. She
is also keen to increase her knowledge about gardening and has just started volunteering in
the gardens of Rossie Estate.
Family wise she is the proud mother of her son who plays professional rugby at international
level for Scotland and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren Oscar and Ava.
