The breaks take place in Corseford School which has short break / respite places for up to four young people at a time.

Full service description:

We are a residential school which as well as providing residential care, provide short breaks and respite to children who have additional and complex support needs aged between five and eighteen years, providing anything from a single nights’ respite to 60+ nights annually. Our respite/short breaks service is utilised by many of the young people in the school but also by non pupils throughout Scotland. Here we aim to ensure that young people with additional and complex needs have an enjoyable stay full of fun activities. We also provide residential special education for young people who have complex needs and are open 52 weeks of the year. We have a multi disciplinary approach encompassing care, nursing, therapy and education which together delivers a holistic service. We also work closely with families to ensure they are fully involved in their child’s life within Corseford.
