PLUS works across the Forth Valley to give children and young people with disabilities the support they need to get out and have fun with people their own age. This also gives parents and carers some time for themselves.

The majority of support provided by PLUS takes place in community settings within Stirling and Forth Valley Area. We also have some activities within our own premises which are single story, accessible.

Full service description:

We provide support to children and young people with a disability, their parents and young carers. PLUS runs the following projects: Play and Chat - play sessions for preschool children and their carer in Falkirk and Stirling PlayPLUS - providing play activities for 5-11 year olds PLUS Youth - providing youth activities for 12-17 year olds Adult services- support for 18-35 year olds - support to enjoy a range of social activities and spend time with friends Count Me In - support provided by volunteers for disabled young people to participate in mainstream clubs and other opportunities PLUS Short Breaks (PSB)- individual staff support is provided to children and young people in their homes or out in the community Family PLUS - opportunities for parents and other family members to exchange information, advice and support After School Club (ASC)- school age children and over can access this club to enjoy fun activities with friends Asperger's groups- Two groups, one for primary age children and one for secondary age young people meet fortnightly

Price information:

Children and young people will be asked to contribute to entrance costs - for example, for swimming pools. If there is a need for transport to be provided then a contribution may be requested. Please get in touch for up-to-date pricing.
