School’s Out - After School support. Monday and Tuesday support for primary children. Wednesday and Thursday support for high school aged young people. 1:1 Support - Home or community based one to one support for children and young adults. Our 1:1 project delivers a bespoke, person-centred service tailored to young people and their families. Whether supporting children or young adults in the community, at school, or in further education, the service is entirely young person-led. We carefully match individuals with staff who have undergone the specific training tailored to meet the young person’s support needs.
Autism Support Project (ASP) - The ASP project is a welcoming community designed for individuals with high functioning autism. We offer group support that is divided into three age groups: 8-11, 12-15, and 16+. These groups meet every two weeks at the PLUS office. At ASP, we provide a nurturing space where young people can grow, become more independent, and improve their social skills, all whilst having a great time. The activities are often planned based on the young people’s ideas, ensuring everyone has a fun and personalised experience.
Play and chat - Parent and toddler style group for parents of pre-school children with a disability or those going through the diagnosis process. Parents/ carers can exchange support while their children play. Every Wednesday 10:30 -12pm, Friday 1pm- 2.30pm at the Plus Stirling office and once a month in Falkirk. Play and Chat is a wonderful form of support for our parents, a very important factor to us here at PLUS.
