Full service description:

We have been providing high-quality live-in care to clients throughout Scotland for over 10 years. Our care is focused on keeping people safely and happily in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, whilst improving their overall health and well-being. Our care is provided on a one-to-one basis and is highly personalised. We provide a carer who lives in your home 24 hours per day working during the day and sleeping in your house in a spare room. Our service provides personal care, cleaning, washing, laundry, ironing, driving (if required in your car), cooking, companionship, and any other domestic support. For those living with specialist conditions, like dementia, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis (MS) or for those requiring stroke care, cancer care or palliative care, our expert care teams are highly trained to provide care and support that positively enhances quality of life. Our nurse-led care in Scotland for those living with complex medical conditions is led and supported by a dedicated Specialist Consultant Nurse, Jane Pritchard who works closely with our care teams to ensure we are consistently improving our clients health outcomes. We have an in-house Occupational Therapist, Jackie Cooper who will provide expert guidance and advice as to what equipment can help improve safe movement and mobility around your home, whilst minimising falls. Jackie is well-placed to provide guidance and recommendations on home adaptations that aim to improve the way you live your life in your home.

Price information:

The Good Care Group’s Scotland live-in care fees cover your entire service, including the arrangement, delivery, and management of your care. Your eligibility is determined by an assessment, which looks closely at your needs before recommending the level of care you should receive. Contributions towards funding may be available from your local authority through Self Directed Support.

Our carer must be allowed to have a 2 hour break during the day when they can leave the house. We are registered with the Care Inspectorate (Scotland) and achieve excellent ratings. We are not an agency. Our carers are employed and trained by us. Our fully managed Edinburgh office and rapid response team are well placed to meet your tailored care needs. Our live-in carers provide care throughout North, East, South and West Scotland,
