All who use our services must have a diagnosis of dementia. There is an open referral system, health and social work professionals or carers/relatives/friends can make referrals.
Woodlands is a dementia specific day support service.
Support services are needs led and person centred.
Woodlands is a Dementia specific purpose built day centre with places for 13 people, six days a week. People are referred in to this service and attend on allocated days. A variety of therapeutic activities are offered, tailored to the needs of the people attending.
There is a charge for lunch & refreshments and also a weekly charge levied on us from NHS Highland. For up to date costs please contact Woodlands on 01463 713 424.
Lunch and refreshments are included.
People attending Woodlands have to make their own arrangements for transportation to and from day support.
