Riddrievale House Project
Riddrievale offers short break respite for up to 9 adults with a learning disability in a spacious and homely environment. We also provide day opportunities and community-based respite. All individuals are treated with respect and dignity. Privacy and confidentiality are respected at all times.
We provide the service on a regular basis to most of our service users thus enabling families who have a member with a learning disability to spend quality time apart as well as together. We offer a range of in-house activities including games, art and crafts, karaoke, and dancing. We have a minibus with wheelchair access and go out and about in the local community as well as further afield. Service users can choose to attend their usual day services whilst at respite, with transport being arranged through their care manager or we can provide daycare if arranged before the visit commences. All activities are tailored to service user's needs and abilities.
