Brief description:

We provide shared care support to children aged 0 to 18 and their families who are experiencing times of significant stress or difficulty through regular short breaks. We can offer stability to a family by lending additional support and a short break from their caring responsibilities.

Full service description:

This support is provided in the family home of our foster carers and can vary from one or two overnights, to a week or longer. The support is tailored to meet the individual needs of the child or young person and their family. Children are carefully matched with carers who are best suited to their needs. Our carers provide support for children and young people to participate in a range of activities, both in the home and in the wider community. All our foster carers have mandatory checks including PVG, medicals and other references. They also complete an assessment and training programme to ensure that they are suitable for this role. Our approved carers have plenty of opportunities to enhance their professional development to support them in their fostering role.
