Brief description:

Forrest House offers tangible support to carers and families, a much needed oasis of temporary relief through short term respite. It is a small residential home originally for adults with cerebral palsy, but also available to those with other conditions requiring a high level of care and support.

All accommodation is located on the ground floor and includes spacious single ensuite rooms with access to a patio area and communal living spaces, such as a sun room and a therapy room.

Full service description:

We offer: A personalised care plan for each service-user, based on a clear assessment of needs and a shared understanding of what is required, including health issues; level of care required and any specific requirements. Quality care in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility constructed in January 2016. A high level of care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs delivered by a qualified, skilled and committed team of staff. Our service has achieved highly in the grading of Quality Indicators by the Care Inspectorate We have purposefully tried to move away from the typical 'residential home' model and feel we have achieved this in our design, decor and approach to caring.
