Brief description:

We provide a day care service for people with dementia. We offer fun and stimulating activities for our members and a wee break for their carers. We also offer specialist services such as podiatry, hairdressing and eye sight tests, but some of these incur an additional charge. As well as our core service of supporting people over 65. We now also provide a young onset service for people with dementia under the age of 65.

Full service description:

The Seagrove Centre is a not for profit registered charity. We provide day care services for people with dementia. Our service runs 6 days per week Monday to Saturday. We also provide ongoing support that takes in all things about members health and wellbeing and their needs and wishes too. We provide an option of care which may assist people stay independent longer.

Price information:

If funded by Edinburgh City Council our daily charge is £10 per day. If paying privately please contact our office for further details.

What is included/not included in the price of the break:

Transport, light breakfast, two course hot meal at lunchtime, choice of stimulating activities.

Time for carers meetings held on the 6th of each month, please contact the office for times as these vary.
