Brief description:

Quarriers Projects in Dumfries and Galloway provide: Family based short breaks for children and young people from birth to age 18 with a significant disability. Family support within the family home for all children. Befriending service for disabled young people from age 12-18 in Nithsdale, Annandale and Eskdale. Fathers groups/support to the Dads of disabled children and young people.

<h3>Quarriers is a Scottish charity dedicated to helping children, families and adults overcome adversity. We have a long track record and an inspiring history. William Quarrier, successful Glasgow shoe retailer, began caring for orphaned and destitute children in Glasgow in the early 1870s. In total, between 1878 and the mid 1980s, over 30,000 children were cared for in Quarrier’s children’s village.</h3>
