How do people access your service:

Through self referral by email or through our website - a copy of a letter of diagnosis is required along with the completed booking form. Alternatively through a health or social care professional, the booking can be initially made through an inquiry e.g from an Occupational Therapist and followed up by family booking in themselves. If the family are unable to complete the booking form, this can be done for them by the health/social care professional and passed through by email.

Type of accommodation:

We have 2 beautifully furnished cottages; the Main Cottage* is wheelchair accessible with wet room etc. Both sleep 6 although travel cots are provided for smaller children. Each house has a double room with twin beds in the other bedrooms. Fully fitted kitchens, dining room, living room etc. Facilities for laundry. We have 'the HUB' which is inside space with sensory area, Xbox, children's library, games, virtual reality etc. Outside space - Playpark, Garden of Wellbeing, Shetland Ponies, Alpacas, and 30 acres of beautiful countryside! * Profile bed, shower cradle system, portable hoist are available in the Main Cottage.

Full service description:

Whiteleys offers amazing spaces for the whole family to enjoy and explore, both on the doorstep and in the surrounding area. We have two high quality, five star assisted catering cottages where families can enjoy short therapeutic breaks complemented with a variety of animal, art, horticultural, holistic, music and recreational therapies. Each family booking into Whiteleys will be considered on an individual basis.
