Learning from Milan Senior Welfare Organisation
South Asian unpaid carers are often described as “invisible,” facing barriers such as cultural expectations, language, stigma and isolation. This online event, led by Milan Senior Welfare Organisation, will explore how these challenges affect carers and how support can be tailored to meet their needs.
Learn about cultural tailoring, flexible support models, and trust-building with communities and leaders. The lessons are transferable across minority communities, offering fresh ideas for more inclusive carer support.
