June learning exchange: Meeting Centres Scotland - recording now available
On Wednesday 18 June, we were delighted to welcome Lorna and Dawn-Claire to our learning exchange series. They shared the inspiring work of Meeting Centres Scotland, a growing movement of community-based hubs supporting people living with dementia and their families.
Built around 11 essential features, Meeting Centres empower local communities to design support that reflects their needs and values. Their vision is for a Meeting Centre in every community.
We also heard from Natasha, who shared her experiences as an unpaid carer and how she is now supporting others in a similar role.
A huge thank you to Lorna, Dawn and Natasha for taking the time to share the inspiring work they do.
